Data collected via Discord (username, avatar, identifier) is necessary for the operation of the service and is not transmitted to third parties for commercial purposes.

7 bis. Reporting Illicit Content — DMCA Procedure

In accordance with article 6 of the LCEN (French law on confidence in the digital economy) and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. §512), DiscordPlace acts as a host for user content (music, banners, descriptions, reviews). Any illicit content or content infringing third-party rights can be reported using the procedure below.

How to report?

Via the "Report" button on each user, server or bot profile.
By email to [email protected] with subject [DMCA] Takedown notification.

Information to provide

Precise identification of the disputed content (profile URL, screenshot, file title).
Proof of your rights to the original work (link to the published work, certificate, etc.).
Your full contact details (name, email, address).
Statement under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate.

Processing time

Any valid notification is processed within 48 working hours. Content is immediately hidden during verification, then permanently removed if the infringement is confirmed. Repeat offenders have their account suspended.

Any abusive or bad-faith reporting engages the responsibility of its author (article 6-I-4 LCEN, penalty up to 1 year imprisonment and €15,000 fine).

8. Disputes

These legal notices are governed by French law. In case of dispute and failing an amicable agreement, the dispute will be brought before French courts in accordance with the rules of jurisdiction in force.
